Where is your favorite place to visit in the world and why?

This is such a hard question! Bali is forever in my heart and soul. I have had so much growth on the island. But my heart is also in South America. I have a special connection to the continent, in particular Chile and Brazil. Will hopefully go back to Argentina this year for a longer period of time.

Who did you want to meet and why?

Yogananda. I credit a lot of his lessons and teachings to my meditation practice and spiritual growth. I also used to visit Lake Shrine and the Self Realization Center when I lived in LA.


How does your work fulfill you, what’s your purpose in life?

My purpose is to serve and to assist in guiding people on their own personal/spiritual journey. I simply pass the tools that I have learned from my teachers to others.

What are you listening to right now?

The Now With Nat podcast


What are you watching?

I will randomly watch Netflix or movies (I also work in film) but nothing in particular. I don’t watch too much TV.


What do you do to relax and de-stress?

Yoga, Meditation, Journaling


Do you have any sleep help tips?

Yoga nidra helps me sleep and meditate. I also cannot drink any caffeine past noon- 1pm


When are you most in flow, productive and energized?

In the morning when I wake up and into the early afternoon. After my morning routine.


Do you meditate or practice mindfulness? If so, how and when?

Yes! Every day. I meditate 1-2 times per day (morning and either afternoon or evening) and I journal every morning. I practice Yoga at least 4 times per week.

Who taught you how to hustle?

Hustle culture started when I was very young. The first time I was burned out I was 19 years old from D1 sports at my university.


What keeps you up at night issues in the world?
I have never really been a great sleeper. Sometimes I put a lot of stress on myself to hit goals and to achieve. I am trying my best to not think of the future (or try to control) the future, as the universe always has another plan.


Do you exercise? If so, how?
Yes, spin class and yoga


What communities inspire you? (online and/ or in-person)
I never felt like I belonged to a certain community. I am inspired by others lifting others and being the highest versions of themselves. That is what inspires me.


Are you more Hustle or more Zen, lately?
I feel recently I have been a mix of both! Definitely more in hustle mode since I’ve been back to Lisbon, but working on balancing that with mindfulness.

What would you do if you did not do your existing work/business?
I also work in the movie industry which is a huge passion of time. So both!


How do you define a good work life balance, and how important do you think it is?
It is extremely important. I do not think there is a one size fits all for people. Some days we feel more inspiration and creativity to create. Other days we might feel more in a space of relaxation. It all depends on the person - really listening to your body and intuition for what you need at the moment.


Are you married, in partnership, or have kids? How have relationships impacted your balance?
Not married and no kids… for me, a relationship is important for spiritual growth. When both partners are on the same page and willing to grow together, it’s beautiful and encouraging to your own growth. Relationships are our biggest teachers as well! They bring up a lot of fears as they mirror back to us what we need to know about ourselves.

What’s some advice you would give to new or struggling entrepreneurs/hustlers that seem out of balance now?
Sometimes the best thing to do is pause and to get clear. More ‘hustle’ does not mean more results. Over the years Ive learned to work smarter not harder. See if you can create space to find joy in your life, which is our birthright! We find guilt in having fun - but when we connect with our joy it naturally raises our vibration. 

What advice would you tell your younger self, under 20?
SO MUCH! Not to worry, that everything is unfolding how it’s supposed to. That my life is going to change in ways that are absolutely unimaginable.


What is one issue you are out to change in the world (personally or professionally)?
Mindfulness practice for more people - both personally and professionally. To listen to people, to serve, to give them hope and tools that have helped me with my own personal development.
