ZHB podcasts are also video recorded, as well as, audio recordings. We are now using the online web-based Streamyard site, not normally now on Zoom or Meet. Please check your webcam quality for HD resolution. You can also use your iPhone or Android smartphone as the primary webcam with the new Camo app. With this camera app you connect via USB plug-in to your computer and the phone too.

AUDIO • MICROPHONE

ZHB is a video and audio podcast show recording when created online. Before our recording please check your computer audio settings for your microphone (input) and speaker (output). We recommend a secondary mic plug-in, if possible, as built-in computer mics are not the best. Plug in your mic to the computer before recording to test it all in advance before we record.

LIGHT • OPTIONS

Be sure to add ‘front-facing’ light before your video on ZHB video recordings. Often people are top-lit, side-lit or badly backlit in the room they are are in. camera. But you need a light on your face to see you clearly on camera. Try a ring light or other lighting accessories that are now easily available online to try out. Lamps and other household lights work well.

WIFI & CONNECTIVITY

Our episodes are often recorded online and so your internet connection is very important. An ethernet plug-in connection can be the most stable, but most people can also use good Wifi connections. Please check your speed connection before recording and think about what location you will be when online. Google offers easy speedtests also.
