Why Hustle Harder and Hustle Porn are Dangerous!

Below is the full transcript from this video provided by Otter.ai.

Hi, everybody, it's Jared from Zen Hustlers today we’re at WeWork in San Francisco. We're shooting here with PitchHub and I want to talk to you about Hustle Porn.

So as I walked in here, I saw a sign that said 'Hustle Harder' and what I want to tell you is, that's bullshit! Okay, people are hustling enough. We don't need to tell people to hustle harder. What we need to tell people is the Hustle Smarter. So one of the two taglines I've seen it WeWork is hustle harder and hustle smarter. What I'm hoping to do is drop the harder part.

We've got people who are depressed, we've got people who are high anxiety, stressed out and in extreme cases suicidal, so we do not need more people telling us to hustle harder but we need people to do is say hustle smarter, have more balance in your life and find that grounded space where you're productive, efficient and calm. Because that's where creativity comes. And that's where some of the best ideas are going to come from. It's not from pushing yourself to the peak hours of the day and always driving, driving, driving, never stopping to check your phone because that will crush you internally, and you will not have the sustainability you're going to need to get through the entrepreneurial journey, which is very difficult.

So what I'm here to tell you today as part of Zen Hustlers and an entrepreneur, and a founder myself is hustle smarter, have more fun in your business, have more play, be more creative, take downtime, put your phone away, keep it out of your bedroom.
